that the engine idling speed does not

IDLING SPEED
1. Start the engine and let it warm up for
several minutes.
2. Check:
engine idling speed

Out of specification → Adjust.
Engine idling speed
1,450 ~ 1,550 r/min
3. Adjust:
engine idling speed

a. Turn the throttle stop screw (1) in or out
until specified idling speed is obtained.
Idling speed becomes
Turning in

LEVER FREE PLAY
CAUTION:
_
Before adjusting the throttle lever free
play, make sure that the adjusters and
locknuts on the carburetor side are
fully tightened. If not, the throttle does
not operate properly.
NOTE:
_
Engine idling speed should be adjusted
properly before adjusting the throttle lever
free play.

Après le réglage du câble, tourner le guidon
dans un sens et dans l'autre pour s'assurer
que le régime de ralenti n'augmente pas.

papillon des gaz (1) jusqu'à ce que le
régime de ralenti préconisé soit atteint.

LEVIER DES GAZ
ATTENTION:
_
Avant de procéder au réglage du jeu de
câble des gaz, s'assurer que les dispositifs de
réglage et les contre-écrous côté carbura-
teur sont bien serrés. Sans cela, le système
d'accélération ne pourra fonctionner cor-
rectement.
N.B.:
_
Avant de procéder au réglage de la garde du
levier des gaz, il faut régler correctement le
régime de ralenti du moteur.
