6.1 Inventory

Reference:
The first thing an installer physically does once onsite is to check to see that all equipment and materials
have arrived, as well as to make sure all necessary documents and forms are available. This is when the
installer will first work with the Cisco Closeout Tool by entering the site information for the BS
components. The Closeout Tool is an Excel spreadsheet with linked worksheets and calculations to
automate the system deployment information. The Closeout Tool is explained under the next heading in
this chapter.
The installer and/or customer should keep a copy of the collected data/Closeout Tool form for future

reference.
As you inventory the BWX 8305 Basestation (BS) components, check to ensure the following
attachments are visible:
Do not try to use former values, i.e., from a previous site, for any of the above three items. Each
measurement is unique to that piece of equipment and must be entered exactly as stated for this
deployment.
