EL3060 CONTINUOUS GAS ANALYZERS
The limit values can only be set in the configurator (see page 53) and not in
the gas analyzer.
Limit Active
The alarm value monitoring can be activated or deactivated.
Assigned
Selection from all the sample components available in the
Component
gas analyzer.
Limit Value
Value range: within the physical measuring range of the
analyzer.
Direction
The alarm signal is output if the measured value is larger or
smaller than the set alarm value.
Hysteresis
Value range: within the physical measuring range of the
analyzer.
Delay Time
Waiting time from the occurrence of an alarm value event
(in or out) to the update of the output.
Value range 0 to 60,000 ms.
Confirmation
If an alarm value is exceeded, the output signal is not reset
Required
until the alarm value has been fallen below again and the
status message has been acknowledged by the user.
NOTE
If several sample components have been configured in the gas analyzer and
alarm values assigned to these sample components, the status of the inac-
tive sample components is set to "normal" after the active sample compo-
nent has been changed, and the active sample component is monitored.
The alarm value monitoring for the sample components which are measured
in the gas analyzer is normally configured ex works. The prerequisite for this
is that there is a digital output available on the digital I/O modules (see
page 39) for each sample component.
