Troubleshooting

Possible Solution
1. Press RESET button to reset circuit; rotate E-Stop
button to reset; replace if not working properly.
2. Inspect/reset circuit breaker; determine if overload
is due to heavy operation; ensure power source has
correct voltage.
3. Ensure power supply is ON/has correct voltage.
4. Correct motor/plug wiring connections (Page 84).
5. Turn the thermal relay cut-out dial to increase
working amps and push the reset pin. Replace if
tripped multiple times (weak relay).
6. Verify circuit is rated for machine amp load;
troubleshoot and repair cause of overload; replace
weak breaker; find/repair electrical short.
7. Test/replace if faulty.
8. Test for power on all legs and contactor operation.
Replace unit if faulty.
9. Check for broken wires or disconnected/corroded
connections, and repair/replace as necessary.
10. Test/repair/replace.
1. Tension/replace belt(s); ensure pulleys are aligned.
2. Test/repair/replace.
3. Test for good contacts/correct wiring.
4. Select appropriate gear ratio; replace broken or
slipping gears.
5. Allow motor to cool; reduce load on motor.
6. Test all legs for power/replace if faulty.
7. Test/repair/replace.
