Background:
Because the CP-220A and the Automation System are two separate devices,
their time-keeping ability is likely to vary, eventually causing a difference
in the time they each display. If the computer is programmed to do so, it
will periodically request the date and time as kept by the CP-220A, and
adjust itself accordingly – resulting in both units being in "sync." To effect
this process, the computer must send an agreed-upon character to the
receiver that will prompt it to produce the required information.
Programming Procedures:
Upon entry into PARAMETER 13, [TIME 05] will be displayed. Although
[05] is the default, any ASCII character between [01] and [FF] can be
programmed (as dictated by the computer) to request the date and time.
Needless to say, if the characters used by the computer and the CP-220A
don't agree, the function will not work.

NOTE 2:
This function can be disabled by programming [00].
With
the
first
MANUAL/PREVIOUS key can be used to change the first character, as
required. Once this is done, use the
before, use either the NEXT key or the MANUAL/PREVIOUS key to change
it, if necessary.
Subsequent movement between the two digits can be
accomplished through the use of the

PARAMETER 13 uses the ASCII character [05] as the default. To properly
take advance of the feature in this parameter, PARAMETER 14 must be
programmed, as well.
Advancing to Next Parameter:
After programming PARAMETER 13, press the N key to advance to
PARAMETER 14 – the next parameter in Category C.
