Background:
Upon entering PARAMETER 18, [BS 08] will be displayed. This parameter
has been factory programmed with the ASCII control code [08],
representing the BackSpace command. PARAMETER 18 is intended to
remain this way and must not be altered.
NOTE: See PARAMETER 11 (on page 2-79) for information on ASCII
coding and the ASCII Character Set.
Advancing to Next Parameter:
After programming PARAMETER 18, press the N key to advance to
PARAMETER 19 – the next parameter in Category C.
The CP-220A displays the parameter just programmed ([PARAMETER
NUMBER 18]) with its first digit flashing, indicating its request for the
next parameter number. Press either:
• 1 then 9 , or
• then
• the

Background:
Upon entering PARAMETER 19, [CR 0D] will be displayed. This parameter
has been factory programmed with the ASCII control code [0D],
representing the Carriage Return command. Like PARAMETER 18,
PARAMETER 19 is intended to remain this way and must not be altered.

coding and the ASCII Character Set.
Advancing to Next Parameter:
The next parameter in Category C is PARAMETER 13. Because it is not
sequential, it cannot be reached with a single press of the
advance to PARAMETER 13, press the N key.
The CP-220A displays the parameter just programmed ([PARAMETER
NUMBER 19]) with its first digit flashing, indicating its request for the
next parameter number.
You can reach PARAMETER 13 by pressing the 1 key and the 3 key.
