Parameters
l2-enhanced: Enables enhanced MAC-extended Layer 2 operating mode when the MPU is
LSQ1SRP1CB, and the enhanced Layer 2 operating mode when the MPU is LSQ1SRP2XB, LSQ1SRPB,
LSQ1MPUA, LSQ1CGP24TSC, LSQ1CGV24PSC, or LSQ1SRPD.
standard: Enables standard operating mode.
standard-bridging: Enables MAC-extended standard operating mode.
standard-routing: Enables route-extended standard operating mode.
chassis chassis-number: Specifies an IRF member switch. The chassis-number argument represents the IRF
member ID of the switch. (In IRF mode)
Description
Use the switch-mode command to set the MPU operating mode.
Use the undo switch-mode command to restore the default MPU operating mode.
The default operating mode of LSQ1SRP1CB is standard-routing.
The default operating mode of LSQ1SRP2XB, LSQ1SRPB, LSQ1MPUA, LSQ1CGP24TSC,
LSQ1CGV24PSC, and LSQ1SRPD is standard.
NOTE:
To validate the configured operating mode, you must save the configuration and reboot the switch.
