If at Category 4 (Terrain Display Select) you selected ID 5 or 6 (EFIS 40/50), you
must select a Category 10 (Attitude and Heading Type) ID with Heading
For Configuration Category 10, the IHAS box should be:
0
You want the Terrain Display to be Track Up. (No Heading)

You want the Terrain Display to be Heading Up. (Preferred W/Heading)
4.2.3.8.11 Category 11, Display Option Select
The following Table provides identification of the Display Option Type. Each
entry in this Category ID has a corresponding Table that provides detailed
information on the configuration (i.e., how the terrain display operates). This
Category primarily allows the selection of how the terrain display operates at
slower speeds. The various speeds, selectable below, allow terrain display
operation to meet varying operator demands.
This Category selects the output type (orientation) and function of the
EGPWS's terrain display. More specifically, this selection will determine the
operation of the terrain display output when on the ground.
Upon start-up and when the EGPWS system finishes initializing (given a non-
INOP condition), the unit will provide a terrain display image. This image,
depending upon the Category selection, will be oriented to North-up, oriented
to Track-up or oriented Heading-up.
