3.2 Diagnostics via STARTER
Starting/stopping the ramp-function generator
Danger due to hazardous axis movement
With the corresponding ramp-function generator parameter settings (e.g. offset), the motor
can "drift" and travel to its end stop.
The movement of the drive is not monitored while the ramp-function generator is active.
Start function generator:
1. Load the function generator.
2. Select "Function generator as a commissioning tool".
3. Select an operating mode e.g. "Speed setpoint after filter".
4. Select a drive, for instance "SERVO_02".
5. Set a signal shape, for example, "Squarewave".
6. Click the "Assume control priority!" button.
7. For "Sign of life monitoring" click on the "Accept" button.

Stopping the function generator:
1. Click on the "Stop FctGen" button.
