First commissioning of the drive units

Introduction
The following unit configuration is performed during the first commissioning of the drive units:
● Transfer of the DRIVE-CLiQ topology to the drive unit
● Drive-object assignment for PROFIBUS connection.
Operating sequences
1. Press the "Drive units" softkey in the "Commissioning" > "Drive system" menu.

With the transfer of the topology, all components connected on the DRIVE-CLiQ are
detected and the drive-internal data traffic is initialized.
The PROFIBUS connection via the relevant message frames has been specified with the
configuration in the HW Config.

You are reminded once again that the drive unit is in the first commissioning state and
that a unit configuration must be performed for the drive system.
Note the following:
NOTICE
It must be ensured that compatible firmware has been loaded on all components. If
necessary, stop the operation and first load the firmware from the CF card to all
components of the drive unit(s).
The operating sequences for loading the firmware are described in Section "Update of the
component firmware (Page 72)".
In the example for first commissioning it is assumed that compatible firmware has been
loaded on all components.
