Overview

The SINUMERIK PCU 321 is a powerful computer unit of the same type of construction as
the SIMATIC S7-300 allowing simple installation on an S7 mounting rail.

Five Ethernet ports are available on-board as a communication interface. Two of these ports
are configured as standard Ethernet interfaces and three as PROFINET interfaces. An
additional two USB interfaces are available for connecting I/O devices (such as a USB boot
stick). The PCU 321 can be operated with the user interface HMI sl (specially configured for
the PCU 321) and HMI-Pro sl (Transline).
