CAUTION
• Use a conductive mat or wear an antistatic wrist strap as a static elec-
tricity countermeasure when handling the disk drives.
• Leave the disk drive in its package until ready to install it.
• Do not touch the circuitry on boards or soldered parts when handling
the disk drives.

• Do not lay the disk drives directly on a desk or similar hard surface.
Always use a rubber mat or other soft material to cushion the disk
drives against physical shocks.
• Do not stand the disk drives on end.
• Do not apply external force to the interface connectors.
• Do not knock or drop the disk drives on hard objects.
