Component Expansion/Function Enhancement

For the ETERNUS AF, the following optional products can be added or their features can be expanded by the
customers.

This chapter explains the handling instructions, the procedure for adding optional products, and the procedure
for expanding features.

Installing Additional Drives

Drives can be installed while the ETERNUS AF is running without affecting the system.
This section explains how to install drives in the ETERNUS AF.

Installable Drives

For installable drives, refer to "Product List".
Do not uninstall or move a drive that is already installed.

Contact your sales representative or maintenance engineer if drives that are installed
by default need to be uninstalled or moved to another slot.
