21. RS-232C connector for power monitoring: POWER DATA (RS-232C)
Interface to monitor the laser power at lasing with a serial communication data.
Refer to "6-2 Serial Data Output of Power Data" (P.130).
22. Shutter close output terminal: SHUTTER CLOSE OUT
• Terminal No. 1 to 3: Output terminals to confirm the shutter closing status. Connect these signals to the external
safety control unit to ensure the shutter status of the laser system.
Refer to "4-5 Shutter Close Output" (P.108).

Description
When the power data is output with the serial communication data, the LED
is lighted-up as follows:
• When the laser welding machine has received the command: LED blinks
once.
• When the laser welding machine has transmitted the data: LED blinks
twice.
Lighted-up while SHUTTER CLOSE 1 OUT (Shutter close output terminal
No.2) is turned ON.
Lightening both LEDs of SHUTTER CLOSE 1 OUT and SHUTTER CLOSE
2 OUT represents the shutter is closed.
Lighted-up while SHUTTER CLOSE 2 OUT (Shutter close output terminal
No.3) is turned ON.
Lightening both LEDs of SHUTTER CLOSE 1 OUT and SHUTTER CLOSE
2 OUT represents the shutter is closed.
Lighted-up while the connection of INTERLOCK 1 IN - INTERLOCK 1 COM.
is opened.
Lighted-up while the connection of INTERLOCK 2 IN - INTERLOCK 2 COM.
is opened.
