5. Fiber unit
Connection part for the laser transmission from the controller to the head.
The fiber unit can be detached from the head.
Refer to "2-3-6 Detaching / attaching the fiber unit" (P.47).
6. Fiber cable
Laser transmission cable from the controller to the head. This cable cannot be detached from the fiber unit.
7. Output beam diameter control dial
This is the mechanical control dial to change the diameter of the output laser beam.
Refer to "2-3-7 Output beam diameter control" (P.51).
8. Signal connector: SIGNAL
This is the terminal for communicating between head and controller.
Connect the attached signal cable.
9. Power connector: POWER
This is the connector for supplying the power to the head.
Connect the attached unit power cable.
10. Heat sink
This is a fin for promoting heat radiation.
11. Frame ground terminal: F.G.
This is the terminal for ground. Ground this terminal to the earth permanently.
