To confirm the lasing position to the detector of
the power meter, click "GUIDE LASER".
Confirm the work distance value shown in guide
laser screen is set to the base position * and
then select the mode to "Work distance".

Click "START".
Place the detector so that the cross indication
of the guide laser radiates on the center of the
detector. (Do not set it to the position where the
dot indication and cross indication overlap.)
• If the work distance is set other than the base position, the center of the cross indication does not refer to the center
of the working field.

Turn ON the laser supply switch on the controller to start laser pumping.

Click "Maintenance" on the right menu and
select "Laser adj." tab.

Click "Laser radiation for measurement".
Click "START" in the laser radiation confirmation
dialog to irradiate the laser.
• The laser power set in Home screen is applied to the
power setting of Laser radiation for measurement.
• If the laser power is corrected in System offset of the
environment setting, the corrected value is applied also
to the power for the measurement.
• The laser radiates to the center of the working field. The X-/Y-offset
value in System offset of the environment setting is not applied to
the lasing position of this function.
• For stable measurement results, it is recommended to obtain
the average output value by measuring the output after about 30
seconds from the start of laser radiation for 10 to 30 seconds.
However, if laser radiates more than 1 minute, make sure it does not exceed the damage threshold of the power
meter.

• Be sure to wear protective goggles.
• During the radiation, the laser energy is concentrated to one point. Use due
caution with long period radiation, it may cause a fire or damage to the object.
