6.1.1 Monthly Maintenance

This section describes routine maintenance items for an indoor unit. Record
maintenance results in the table after a maintenance item is complete.

Exercise caution during professional maintenance. For details, contact

When replacing a component, do not lean the component against the
cabinet.
Operation
Check that the air filter is
clean and not blocked.
Check that the air filter is
not damaged or distorted.
Check that the indoor fan
guard is not misshapen.
Check that the indoor fan
blades are intact.
Check that no foreign
matter exists in the fan.
Check that the indoor fan
generates no abnormal
sound during operation,
such as metal friction sound
and harsh noises.
Check that the screws on
the indoor fan are not loose
or distorted.
Check that the condensate
drip pan is not dirty or
blocked.
Check that cables are
securely connected to the
chilled water valve and its
actuator.

Troubleshooting
Clean the air filter.
Replace the air filter
(recommended interval: every six
months).
Repair or replace the fan guard if it
is misshapen.
Replace the fan.
Clear foreign matter.
Clear foreign matter and check
that screws securing the fan are
tightened.
Tighten or replace the screws.
Clean the drip pan.
Secure the cables connected to the
chilled water valve and its actuator.
