You can view and change the settings in the Protected
Menu. Once you access the Protected Menu, scroll
down to Protect Settings option. Use the right button
to change the setting. Setting the Protect Settings to
O
allows you to view and change the settings in

the Protected Menu without entering the PIN code.

Setting the Auto Idle

1.
In the Settings Menu, scroll down to Auto Idle.

Press the right button to change the auto idle

Setting the Maximum
Allowed Mow Speed
In the Settings Menu, Scroll down to Mow Speed
and press the right button.
Use the right button to increase the maximum full
mow speed (50%, 75%, or 100%).
Use the center button to decrease the maximum
full mow speed (50%, 75%, or 100%).
Press the left button to exit.
Setting the Maximum
Allowed Transport Speed
In the Settings Menu, scroll down to Transport
Speed and press the right button.
Use the right button to increase the maximum
transport speed (50%, 75%, or 100%).
Use the center button to decrease the maximum
transport speed (50%, 75%, or 100%).
Press the left button to exit.
When finished with the Protected Menu, press the left
button to exit to the Main Menu, then press the left
button to exit to the Run Menu.
Setting the Service Due
Timer
This resets the service due hours after a scheduled
maintenance procedure is performed.

During Operation

General Safety

The owner/operator can prevent and is responsible
for accidents that may cause personal injury or
property damage.
Wear appropriate clothing, including eye
protection; long pants; substantial, slip-resistant
footwear; and hearing protection. Tie back long
hair and do not wear loose clothing or loose
jewelry.
Do not operate the machine while ill, tired, or
under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Use your full attention while operating the
machine. Do not engage in any activity that
causes distractions; otherwise, injury or property
damage may occur.
Before you start the engine, ensure that all drives
are in neutral, the parking brake is engaged, and
you are in the operating position.
Do not carry passengers on the machine and keep
bystanders and children out of the operating area.
Operate the machine only in good visibility to avoid
holes or hidden hazards.
Avoid mowing on wet grass. Reduced traction
could cause the machine to slide.
Keep your hands and feet away from rotating
parts. Keep clear of the discharge opening.
Look behind and down before backing up to be
sure of a clear path.
Use care when approaching blind corners, shrubs,
trees, or other objects that may obscure your
vision.
Stop the blades whenever you are not mowing.
Stop the machine, remove the key, and wait for
