■ 5.6.2 Server Sensors Information
This section explains how to view the power supply status, voltage, temperature, and
fan sensor readings. For details on individual sensors, see the platform supplement. The
system is equipped with a number of sensors that measure voltages, temperatures, and
other settings. LOM polls the sensors and posts an event in the sensor event log (SEL) when
they cross a threshold. Some of these readings are also used to perform actions, such as
adjust fan speeds, illuminate LEDs and power off the chassis.
5.6.2.1 Voltage Monitoring
As Fig. 5.6.2.1, this page allows user to view the status of each voltage probe using
minimum and maximum thresholds. User can click the Refresh button to view updates. If the
power to the system is off, the following message is displayed: Unable to retrieve the
voltage probe sensor information. The system is powered off. The detail description of
Voltages table format will show in Table 5.6.2.1.
