IPv6 Address
Configures up to four IPv6 addresses. Allowed values follow a hexadecimal
representation. Validates against an IP address pattern of a 16-byte format
[HHHH:HHHH:HHHH:HHHH:HHHH:HHHH:HHHH:HHHH]. An example of a
literal representation is [2001:660:3003:2:a00:20ff:fe18:964c]. This field is
required only if its relative checkbox (IPv6 Destination 1, 2, 3 or 4) is checked.
Community
Displays/configures the SNMP community name using alpha and numerical
Name
values. Validates that this field is not empty.
NOTE: When adding a new destination address, if all address fields have existing IP addresses, user
has configured all of the existing alerts and must reuse a disabled alert.
5.6.1.4 Email Setting for Alert Destination
This page allows user to view email alert settings. With Administrator or Operator
privilege level, user can enter email addresses, IP addresses, and enable or disable email
alerts for each address.
The following steps will show how to configure Email Settings from WebGUI:
Step 1.
Log in to the LOM as Administrator to reach the WebGUI.
Step 2.
From the Event Management tab, select Email Settings.
User will see the Email Settings page screen as Fig. 5.6.1.4. The detail description of Email
Setting format will show in Table 5.6.1.3.
Step 3.
Click the Email Alert number enabled button to enable email alert.
Step 4.
Edit the destination email IP for the alert. User can also edit the email description if need.
Step 5.
Edit the SMTP Server IP.
Step 6.
Edit the SMTP Authentication field if user have security requirement.
Step 7.
Click "Apply Changes" button to save setting.
