Save and quit:
1. After entering the last parameter, press and release the right multifunction
button ("back" symbol).
2. Press and release the right multifunction button ("back" symbol).
3. Press and release the button under the "save" symbol (disk symbol).
4. Press and release the right multifunction button ("back" symbol) until the
desired menu level is reached. Or switch off the machine.
Quit without saving:
Switch off the machine. Or press and release the right multifunction button
("back" symbol) until the program selection menu level is reached.

Service Mode (Service Level)

Service mode access can be done manually via the selection-display
electronic (BAE/EW 235), or remotely via the MDU using a PC connected to
the appliance that is running the most current version of the service software.
The machine has a special service mode where the service technician can,
e.g., monitor machine operation. Machine configuration (module registration,
setting supply voltage, etc.), special test programs for fault finding, and data
and fault printouts can also be accomplished while in this mode.
Manual service mode access is performed in the same way as for all other
Miele machines.
1. Close the door.
2. Switch off the machine.
3. Press and hold the Start
on/off switch.
4. Release the Start
5. Press and release the Start
6. Then press and hold the Start
lighted ring flashes. Release the Start
Note:
Service access must be completed within 10 seconds of switching the
machine on. If this is not achieved, the service mode accessing process is
interrupted and the control reverts to normal operating mode.
Note:
A power interruption during the accessing procedure will cancel the process.
The accessing procedure must then be started again from the beginning.
Note:
During any service test an actual value which varies from the target value will
flash. The technician can then more easily recognize faults or target values
that have not been reached.
Acknowledgement indicator:
Successful accessing of the service mode is indicated by rapid flashing (5
flashes per second) of the Start

