FAULT: External presentation unit xx, Control Unit xx
1728 / 5054 (set as 1728)
The EPU xx, connected to Control Unit no. xx, is programmed as
another type in the SSD or a fault in the unit.
Note: The EPU may be called Remote Display Unit (RDU) or Mimic
FAULT: Extinguishing system, Control Unit xx
= Fire Protection Activated – AS4428.3
Fault in the extinguishing system which has a fault output connected to
a programmable supervised input in the FT1020G3 system, in Control
Unit no. xx. Also check the input connections.
Note: Close to the soft key area in the display there will be an additional
information text: "Extinguishing fault".
FAULT: Factory settings, Control Unit xx
The factory settings have been "changed", in Control Unit no. xx, e.g.
due to some external disturbance. Call engineering or replace the main
board.
FAULT: Fan, technical number xxxxxx
The LED "Fault" is lit on a fan control module connected to Control Unit
xx. Fan no. xx has been triggered but the corresponding I/O unit 3361 /
4461 input has not been activated within the programmed time.
Check CT or pressure switch in MSSB and the cables/connections.
Or
The fan phase fault input is activated.
Or
Check Cables / connections.
Note: This fault is "non-latching" irrespective of all other faults are being
"latched".
FAULT: FB Silence switch, Control Unit xx
Only valid in the New Zealand convention.
New Zealand FB Silence Alarms Bulgin key (outside switch) is turned
on, in Control Unit no. xx, i.e. from not activated to activated state.
FAULT: Fire brigade panel xx, Control Unit xx
FBP = 5054 (Ext. Fire Brigade Panel)
The ext. FBP xx, connected to Control Unit no. xx, is programmed as
another type in the SSD or a fault in the unit.
Note: Currently not available and not compliant with AS4428.3.
FAULT: Fuse on COM loop x, Control Unit xx
5010
Blown fuse F15 (Loop 0), F16 (Loop 1), F17 (Loop 2) or F14 (Loop 3)
on the main board 5012, in Control Unit no. xx. Fuse T1.6A L 250V
(TR5).
Note: The fuse should not be replaced. The main board 5010 needs
to be replaced, since more components may be damaged as well.
FAULT: Fuse output x, Technical number xxxxxx
Blown fuse 0, 1 or 2 on the 4464 board or in power supply 4466.
Replace blown fuse.
Note: 4464 & 4466 are not currently available.
FAULT: Fuse, supervised output x (auto-resettable), CU xx
5012
Check for overload on the supervised output.
