Cleaning the Chassis

Service Interval: Every 100 hours—Check for dirt
buildup in the chassis.
Over time, the chassis under the engine collects dirt
and debris that must be removed. Using a flashlight,
open the hood and inspect the area under the engine
regularly. When the debris is 2.5 to 5 cm (1 to 2
inches) deep, clean the chassis.

Park the machine on a level surface, engage the
parking brake, and lower the loader arms.
2.
Raise the front of the machine so that the
machine is angled backward.
3.
Shut off the engine and remove the key.
4.
Remove the 2 bolts securing the bottom plate
and remove the bottom plate.

Remove the front cover; refer to

Spray water into the chassis to clean out the dirt
and debris.
Note:
The water will drain at the back of the
machine.

Do not spray water into the
engine.

Grease the machine; refer to

Shut off the engine, remove the key, wait for all
moving parts to stop, and allow the machine to
cool before storing it.
Do not store the machine or fuel near flames.
Storage
1.
Park the machine on a level surface, engage the

Shut off the engine and remove the key.
3.
Remove dirt and grime from the entire machine.
Important:
with mild detergent and water. Do not
pressure-wash the machine. Avoid
excessive use of water, especially near the
control panel, engine, hydraulic pumps, and
motors.

Check and tighten all fasteners. Repair or
replace any worn, damaged, or missing parts.

Paint all scratched or bare metal surfaces with
paint available from your Authorized Service
Dealer.
11.
Store the machine in a clean, dry garage or
storage area. Remove the key from the ignition
switch and keep it in a memorable place.

Disconnect the battery; refer to
