11.17 Replacing an Outdoor Fan

Procedure
Step 1 Open the rear door and remove the air filter.
Step 2 Tap Shutdown on the home screen of the display module.
Exercise caution because the device is still energized after it is shut down on the
home screen of the display module.
Step 3 Turn off the active power switch QF1, standby power switch QF2, and drive switch
QF3.
Step 4 Open the electric control box of the outdoor unit and turn off the corresponding
fan switch.
Step 5 Remove the faulty fan.

Issue 04 (2022-12-15)
An outdoor fan needs to be replaced.
A spare outdoor fan of the same model is available and functional.
Tools: Phillips screwdriver, torque wrench, small-sized flat-head screwdriver (2
mm), diagonal pliers, cable tie
NO TICE
Cut off the cable ties that secure the fan cables, remove the cover of the fan
connection box using a Phillips screwdriver to a torque of less than 2 N·m,
and remove the four cable terminals using a small flat-head screwdriver.
Loosen the waterproof terminal on the cable and pull out the cable from the
connection box.
Remove the four screws that secure the fan assembly, and remove the faulty
fan assembly.
