5. Remove the right traction-motor hose from
the straight fitting in port-FAR of the front
transmission manifold

6. Plug the right traction-motor hose, apply a piece
of tape to the hose, and write FAR on the tape.
7. Remove the T-fitting from the straight fitting
in port-PB of the front transmission manifold
(Figure 15).
Note:
Retain the T-fitting for installation of the
new front transmission manifold.

Removing the Transmission
Manifold
1. Clean hydraulic fluid from the chassis.
2. At the bottom of the machine, remove the 3
capscrews (10 x 25 mm), washers (10 mm),
and lock washers (10 mm) that secure the front
transmission manifold to the chassis beam
(Figure 17).
Note:
Retain the capscrews, washers, and
lock washers for installation in
Transmission Manifold to the Machine (page
