4. Plug the hydraulic-pump hose, apply a piece of
tape to the hose, and write A on the tape.
5. Remove the 90°fitting from the straight fitting at
port-A of the front transmission manifold

Retain the 90°fitting for installation of the
new front transmission manifold.
6. Remove the hydraulic-return hose from the
straight fitting in port-DC of the front transmission
manifold (Figure 11).

7. Plug the hydraulic-return hose, apply a piece of
tape to the hose, and write DC on the tape.

Removing the Hoses at the Front
of the Transmission Manifold
Note:
Make a note recording the position and
orientation of all hoses, fittings, and electrical
connectors that you disconnect or remove from the
front transmission manifold.
1. Remove the left and right brake-pressure
hoses from the T-fitting at port-PB of the front
transmission manifold

2. Right brake-pressure hose
or (mark right PB)
2. Plug the left and right brake-pressure hoses,
apply a piece of tape to each hose, and write left
PB or right PB on the tape.
3. Remove the charge pressure-supply hose from
the straight fitting in port-CP fitting of the front
transmission manifold
1. Charge pressure-supply

2. Straight fitting
(port-CP—front
transmission manifold)
4. Plug the charge pressure-supply hose, apply a
piece of tape to the hose, and write CP on the
tape.
