Description
Part identification code. It consists of 8-17 digits containing letters,
number, and symbols - =. It is also called part number (PN for
short). The BOM of optical and electrical modules consist of 8 or 12
digits.
Optical module types include GPON, XGPON, XGSPON, XG&G-
PON, and XGS&G-PON.
Encapsulation mode of an optical module.
NOTE
This field is displayed on only combo PON (XG&G-PON and XGS&G-
PON) modules.
Device on which an optical module is installed: OLT, ONU, and
ONT.
