(2) Press the [F8] (DME CONFIG) key.
Every time the key is pressed, the selection switches between INT and EXT.
INT : Internal DME (The HDS-7150 uses HKDS-7061 and HKDS-7071.)
EXT : External DME (The HDS-7150 uses HDME-7000 etc.)

The internal DME and external DME cannnot be used at the same time.
The internal DME and external DME differ in the signals between the HDS-7150 and DME.
When the internal DME is selected. The input and output signals are fixed as follows automatically.
Additional settings are not necessary.
AUX1 BUS : The video signal to the internal DME
AUX2 BUS : The key signal to the internal DME
AUX3 BUS : The external video signal to the internal DME
When the external DME is selected, the following setting is necessary.
(3) In the set-up menu screen, press the keys on the display panel in the following sequence.
[4] (PERIPH), [F5] (DME IF)
The function key indications change as follows.

(4) Press the [F1] (DME SELECT) key to move the cursor to desired DME signal.
(5) Press the [F8] (BUS SELECT) key to move the cursor to the AUX BUS connected to the input of
the DME signal selected in the step (4).
(6) Press the [F6] (SELECT) key.
(7) While pressing the [F3] (BUTTON No.) key, press the AUX bus button.
Or while pressing the [F3] (BUTTON No.) key, press the [(] or [)] key. To re-enter the DME
output signal selected in the step (4) the crosspoint button is selected.
If the output signal of the DME is not re-entered, press the [F2] (OFF) key.
(8) Press the [F4] (ON AIR TALLY) key to select the detection process of the tally of the case that the
output signal of the DME selected in the step (4) is selected by the crosspoint button.
Every time the key is pressed, the SELF/AUTO is selected.
SELF : Regardless of the status of the DME, the tally is provided if the DME is selected by a
crosspoint button.
AUTO : The combination status and the key type selection of the DME are detected, and the
applicable tally is provided.
(9) Repeat the steps (4) through (8) to set the all connected DME.
