Installing the Light Switch
1. Remove the existing 8-socket connector from the old
light switch (Figure

2. Remove the old light switch from the control-panel
cover (Figure 49).
Note: You no longer need the old light switch.
3. Insert the 1 socket connector of the kit harness into
the slot number 1 of the 8-socket connector of the
main harness (Figure

8-socket connector to ensure that the new light switch
works properly.

4. Install the light-switch decal onto the control-panel
cover, centered over the light switch opening, with the
words
SONIC BOOM
(Figure 51).

5. Insert the plain 3-position switch (without the
hazard symbol) into the light switch opening of the
control-panel cover with the tail of the switch rearward
(Figure 51).
6. Connect the 8-socket connect of the machine harness
to the 3-position switch
