Step 4 Stick the positioning label delivered with the IPC at the installation position of the dome.
Step 5 Use a drill bit with a diameter of 5.5 mm to drill four holes at the positions marked on the
positioning label. Each hole is 40 mm deep. Use a hammer or a hard object to drive three
white expansion particles into the drilled holes, as shown in Figure 6-22. Ensure that the
expansion particles do not project out of the ceiling.

Step 6 Route the multi-connector cable out of the side cabling gap on the bracket base or through the
30 mm cable outlet on the top. Take four black self-tapping screws out of the accessory kit of
the bracket. Hold the bracket with one hand, and align the four holes on the lower cover with
the four expansion particles installed on the ceiling. Use the four black self-tapping screws to
fix the bracket on the ceiling, as shown in Figure 6-23.

NOTE

When an IPC is installed using a ceiling-mounted bracket, the side cabling mode is often used for
cable routing. In this case, you need to use the pincers to open the side cabling gap on the base of the
ceiling-mounted bracket.

If the top cabling mode is used, you need to drill a hole with a diameter of 30 mm on the wall.
