• The processing time of a CPU module required to sample a device and label can be determined by
checking a value in the sampling size. (Page 115 Sampling time)
• A saving period can be calculated with the following formula.
However, a saving period and the recording buffer capacity
because the rate of change for data sampling and a value of a sampling interval are determined while the
recording function is running.
Saving period = Recording buffer capacity  (Sampling size (overall)  Rate of change for data sampling
 Sampling interval
*1 By assuming the number of units of data (expected value) in a recording file to be saved, the recording buffer capacity (expected value)
can be calculated with the following formula:
Sampling size (overall)  Number of units of data in a recording file (expected value)
*2 Can be calculated with the following formula:
Changed data size  Sampling size (overall)
Precautions
• If a sampling size exceeds the capacity of the buffer area setting for data sampling in the CPU parameter, the recording
function cannot be started and a recording setting error (error code: 3026H) occurs in a recording module.
• If a warning icon appears in the sampling size and it persists even after converting a program, a non-existent program may
be set in the CPU parameter. Check the program registered in the program setting in the CPU parameter.
