7.10 RTD Measurement

Alter the following setpoints:
S4: PROTECTION\TEMPERATURE\RTD 1\RTD 1 TYPE: 100PT
S4: PROTECTION\TEMPERATURE\RTD 1\RTD 1 APPLICATION: BEARING
S4: PROTECTION\TEMPERATURE\RTD 1\RTD 1 TRIP TEMPERATURE: OFF
S4: PROTECTION\TEMPERATURE\RTD 1\RTD 1 ALARM TEMPERATURE: OFF
To verify RTD 1 readings ensure a 10 turn 200 Ω variable resistor is connected to

terminals 49, 50 and 51 as shown in FIGURE 7–1: SECONDARY INJECTION TEST SETUP
on page 7–96.

Using Table 4–3: RTD Resistance VS. Temperature on page 4–44 as a reference, input
various resistances and verify that displayed temperatures in
METERING\TEMPERATURE\BEARING RTD 1 TEMPERATURE:
the Resistance vs. Temperature table.

Repeat the above steps with RTD 2 and RTD 3 inputs.
