instructions, please refer to the instruction sheet shipped with the firmware USB key.
If you downloaded the upgrade files from the GE website, make sure that the files are saved in the proper folders
on your USB key (:\InnovOx\Upgrade). After you install your USB key in the USB port, wait 15 seconds and then
select the Upgrade button. This process may take several minutes.

Cleaning the Analyzer Screen

You can deactivate the touchscreen for 30 seconds to allow you to clean the screen without activating any
features.
To deactivate the screen
1.
Select the Maintenance tab.
2.
Press the Advanced button. The Advanced screen appears.
3.
Press the Clean Screen button.

Setting the Fail Safe Option

If the Fail Safe accessory is installed, the Analyzer is fitted with level sensors in each sample inlet to detect when
flow has stopped in any sample stream. Level sensors are installed in the reagent, dilution water, and Check
Standard carboys. These level sensors allow the Analyzer to automatically alert you when a carboy should be
refilled.
You must set the Fail Safe option to On in order to set the instrument to inform the Analyzer NOT to analyze a
stream that is not flowing. When flow resumes in that stream, the Analyzer will measure it again in its original
sequence. You can also set the Fail Safe option to Off to disable the Fail Safe option, which is helpful when
performing maintenance procedures.
To set the Fail Safe option
1.
Select the Maintenance tab.
2.
Press the Advanced button.
3.
Press the Fail Safe button, and then press either the On or Off button.
