I. INSTALLATION
This machine is installed by the user.
The user should be advised to install the
scanner by reading the Setup Guide of User
Manual thoroughly. This section gives an
overview of the procedure. For details, refer
to the user manual.

1. System Requirements

The recommended system is as follows.
1) Computer
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.66 GHz or higher
Memory: 1 GB or more
Hard disk: 3 GB or more of free space
(required for installation of all software)
USB interface: Hi-speed USB 2.0 (Only
the power supply supports USB 3.0.)
Monitor: Resolution 1024 x 768 (XGA) or
higher
Optical drive: Able to read DVDs

(32/64 bit edition)
