Operation
Symptom Cause and/orcorrective actions
The tape does not move when a tape
transport button is pressed.
No sound or only a low sound is heard
when playing back a tape.
The new sound added to the recorded
tape is not heard.
The SteadyShot ftmction does not activate.
Recording stops in a few seconds.
The autofocus flmction does not activate.
The fader flmction does not work.
Tile title is not displayed.
Tile title is not recorded.
Tile cassette label is not recorded.
• Tile POWER switch is set to CAMERA or OFF.
+ Set it to VTR. (p. 20)
• The tape has run out.
+ Rewind the tape or use a new one. (p. 20)
• Tile volume is turned to the ininimtnn.
÷ Open the LCD panel and press VOL +. (p. 20)
• AUDIO MIX is set to ST2 side in the menu system.
