Adjust the exposure manually under tile following cases.

• The barkground is too bright (hack lighting)
• Insufficient light: most of the picture is dark

• Bright subjert and dark barkground
• To record the darkness faithflllly
(1)Press EXPOSURE. The exposure indicator appears on the LCD screen or in the
viewfinder.
(2)Tmn the CONTROL dial to adjust the exposme. The exposure is locked at the adjusted
brightness.

To return to automatic exposure mode
Press EXPOSURE to turn off the exposure indirator.
Notes
• The CONTROL dial does not have a stop position.
• If you press PROGRAM AE, the expost/re comes back to automatic adjustment again.
• When you adjust the exposure manually, you cannot use the BACK LIGHT flmction.
