Understanding the SmartFAX Window

When you start SmartFAX, you see the screen shown below:
Display
Shows information.
Number Keypad
Use to dial number, on
SmartFAX.
If you click here, the minimized SmartFAX
displays as a button (Windows 95) or icon
(Windows 3.x) on the Windows desktop. To
restore the minimized SmartFAX window, click
the left mouse button on the SmartFAX icon or
button.
Closes the SmartFAX
window.
Phonebook keys
BOOK
Access Phonebook mode to
edit or delete numbers.
Receive mode
FAX, TEL, TEL/FAX, ANS/FAX
Resolution
STANDARD/FINE/SUPER FINE
Contrast
NORMAL/LIGHTER/DARKER
Document type
TEXT/PHOTO
Menu
Access Menu Mode.
MEM TX
Activates Memory Transmission.
COPY
Opens the Copy dialogue box.
REFRESH
Refreshes the SmartFAX screen, and
displays the current status of SmartFAX.
SEND/START
Activates Direct Transmission.
