Installation of Remote Panel
A. Install the remote panel in the cockpit panel of the aircraft and fasten it to the standard rail
configuration, using the quarter turn Dzeus fasteners (already installed on the remote panel) to
lock it firmly in place.
B. Make sure that there is enough space behind the cockpit panel for the connector and associated
wiring at the back of the remote panel.

J1 pin 14, if low speed (12.5 kB) ARINC data is provided, or
J1 pin 13 to Open circuit, if High speed (100 kB) ARINC is provided
Connect J1 pins as shown in Figure A-2.
Program the NAIM with the BMP programming tool, with either the;

Standard Location NULL Message, or
2
User Location NULL Message
If no 24-bit DIP switch module is used, then the NAIM shall be programmed with
the BMP programming tool with one of the following protocols:

Serial Number, User Location protocol
2
24-BIT Aircraft Address, User Location protocol
3
Aircraft Operator and Serial number, User Location protocol
4
Aircraft Nationality and Registration, User Location protocol
5
Serial Number, Standard Location protocol
6
24-BIT Aircraft Address, Standard Location protocol
