2 Activate the ELT by using a quick throwing motion in the direction of the
arrow, followed by a quick motion in the reverse direction. Verify the unit has
activated by observing that the LED on the control panel is blinking (signifying
activation).
3 After verifying operation, set the switch on the control panel of the transmitter
unit to "OFF".
(I/O)
Input Used to put transmitter unit into TEST
mode.
Output Contact closure to ground during
TRANSMIT mode. If not, open circuit.
Input Used for factory testing only. This
input must be open circuit during
usual operation.
Output DC ground supplied by the chassis of
the transmitter unit.
Output Contact closure to ground during
TRANSMIT mode. At other times,
open circuit.
Output Pulsed output to drive LED.
Input Contact closure to G SW SENSE to
make selection of JAA G-Switch.
Input Contact closure to G SW SENSE to
make selection of FAA G-Switch.
Output Has function as contact closure for
JAA G SWITCH or FAA G SWITCH.
