3.2.2 Draw out Casse e

Isola on Shu er Locking:

Security locking
Locks the Opera on of Safety shu ers, if installed any, when
pad lock applied on the security locking bar C only, when the
Casse e is in DISCONNECTED posi on. Also Locks the entry of
Racking handle in to the Crank Inser on hole of the Casse e.
Lock can be applied when Circuit breaker in the DISCONNECTED
posi on.
Maximum One padlock (required hasp diameter is 3 ~ 8 mm)
May be applied for security. Also this locking Device is
compa ble with scissor lock.
1. Ensure posi on indicator shows DISCONNECTED Posi on.
2. Remove racking handle from the Crank inser on hole if
present already.
3. Pull the locking bar un l the locking eye is exposed and hold
while inser ng padlock hasp. Shown in Fig. B. Device is locked
out a er padlock applica on. Shown in Fig. C.
4. Then with a screw driver a empt to turn the Racking handle
shu er drive B clockwise. Shown in Fig. A.
5. Condi on should be-Not able to Rotate racking handle
shu er drive B & insert Racking handle in to the crank inser on
hole on front panel.
6. A empt to move the Front shu er plate Up & down
(Applicable for Horizontal termina ons Fig. D) or move le to
Right (Applicable for ver cal termina ons Fig. E) which are
installed on the Casse e in front of terminals. Condi on should
not be able to move the shu er plate.
