CAUTION: Ensure circuit breaker and its accessories are always
used within their designated ra ngs.
Use the specially designed circuit breaker handling truck
(op onal accessory) when removing the circuit breaker from its
casse e.

1.4.1 Charging of main springs

NOTICE: 1 charging cycle provides su cient energy for an O-C-O
(Open-Close-Open) opera on. The mechanism only operates
correctly when the device is mounted on a horizontal plane and
xed at the bo om OR when the device is mounted in a ver cal
plane and xed at the bo om or rear. (using moun ng brackets)
Device Charging (manual)
-- Extend handle (Fig.1.0B page 1.4)
-- Rotate or depress handle in a downwards direc on.
-- Allow the handle to return to it's original posi on. A clearly
audible click indicates that the opera on is completed.
-- Repeat the above men oned process 10 mes, thus fully
charging the springs. The status indicator will now be RED: The
mechanism design includes measures that prevent over
extension and operator injury.
Device Charging (electrical)
The op onally available spring charging mechanism (motor) will
automa cally charge the springs directly a er a closing
opera on. This takes approximately 2 seconds.
