ETUP ALIGNMENT AND ADJUSTMENT PRIOR TO USE
5.1.1

Initial setups

In this section the contents of the nonvolatile memory are checked and
changed if necessary. The setup information is available in two programs,
PAr and SUP. The automatic exposure control information is available in
AEC and tAr programs.
In the SetUP (prog. #52 SUP) the following is setup:
#52 SUP A Compression autorelease time
#52 SUP L Label type
#52 SUP H Label text
#52 SUP i i/o device
#52 SUP F Default filter
In the PArameter (prog. #53 PAr) the following is setup:
#53 PAr S The serial number of the unit
#53 PAr C Country code
#53 PAr r Tube efficiency in mR/mAs for both filters
#53 PAr b Anode brake selection
#53 PAr t Software mode and Phototimer modes
#53 PAr I Collimator type (Interlock)
#53 PAr d C-arm control board / CD board selection
In the Automatic Exposure Control (prog. #64 AEC) information is
available:
#64 AEC d Wanted optical density
#64 AEC h IQC - kV programming
#64 AEC I Target time MIN/MAX automatic exposure
#64 AEC c Thickness compensation adjustment
#64 AEC g AEC gain - optical density programming

In the tArget time (prog. #65 tAr) following information is available:
#65 tAr The Alpha RT AA- mode (auto kV) selects the used kV
according to a target time which is programmed for small
and large focus, and for Mo and Rh filters separately. The
target time depends on the compressed breast thickness
and is a linear curve calculated from two programmed
points.
