new printhead when you restart the printer.

Note: Use a long screwdriver and the guiding holes to access the screws.

10. Insert the new printhead to the bracket into the printer.
11. Turn the printhead lift lever clockwise to close it.
12. Fasten the left and right screw.
13. Lock the Front Sensor(PX940A)/Verifier(PX940V) module back to the printer.
14. Replace the media (and ribbon) in the printer.
15. Close the media cover, reconnect power, and turn on the printer.

Replace the Platen Roller

If the printer platen roller gets damaged or wears out, it may need to be replaced.

Turn the printer off and disconnect the printer from power.
Open the media cover.
Remove the media and ribbon (if installed).
Turn the printhead lift lever counterclockwise to raise the printhead.
Pull down the Front Sensor(PX940A)/Verifier(PX940V).
Move the inside toggle and outside toggle to the center of printhead.
Use the screw driver to loosen the left and right screws.
Disconnect the two cables from the printhead as you remove it from the
printer.
Connect the two printhead cables to the new printhead.
