Ethernet Interface Commands on the Cisco ASR 9000 Series Router

show lldp traffic

To display statistics for Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) traffic, use the show lldp traffic command
in EXEC configuration mode.
show lldp traffic [location location]
Syntax Description
location location

Totals of LLDP statistics for the system are displayed.

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes appropriate task
IDs. If the user group assignment is preventing you from using a command, contact your AAA administrator
for assistance.
To reset the counters displayed by the show lldp traffic command, use the clear lldp counters command.

The following example shows sample output for statistics for all LLDP traffic on the system:
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router# show lldp traffic
LLDP traffic statistics:
(Optional) Displays LLDP statistics for traffic at the specified location. The
location argument is entered in the rack/slot/module notation.
Total frames out: 277
Total entries aged: 0
Total frames in: 328
Total frames received in error: 0
Total frames discarded: 0
Total TLVs discarded: 0
Total TLVs unrecognized: 0
