Procedure For New Remote Controls / Driver Card - Cobra BRIDGE 4100 Fitting Instructions Manual

PROCEDURE FOR NEW REMOTE CONTROLS / DRIVER CARD

If a radio control / Driver Card is lost or faulty, it can be replaced in a secure way as this
operation can only be carried out in certain conditions.
Proceed as follows if you have at least one radio control that works:
1. Disarm the system (is the "Anti - robbery" function is enabled, enter the first two digits of
the Pin code via the push - button located on the LED panel).
2. Open a door and the bonnet.
3. Turn the ignition key ON (+ 15 ON).
4. Keep button "A" of the radio control pressed: the turn indicators will flash once.
5. Enter the PIN code.
6. The system confirms that the self - learning process has been accessed by 5 blinking of
the direction indicators and by 5 flashes of the LED.
7. Press the A key on the radiocontrol device or the button on the Driver Card, check that the
LED on the radio control device or Driver Card flashes and that the LED on the emergency
panel lights up for about 1 s; the direction indicators will also flash briefly to confirm that
the radiocontrol device or Driver Card has been memorise.
8. Repeat step 7 for all the radio controls or for all the Driver Cards that you want to enable
(the remote control or the Driver Card already enabled, must be learned again).
9. If no more operations are carrier out within 30 s, the system automatically quits the auto -
learning procedure giving a long blink of the turn indicators.
10. To quit from the auto - learning procedure at any time, just close the bollet.
ATTENTION!
Proceed as follows if both the radio controls have been lost:
A. Disarm the system entering the PIN code.
B. Disconnect the by power supply (disconnect the connector), from the control until.
C. Open a door and the bonnet.
D. Turn the ignition ON.
E. Reconnect power supply.
F. Enter the PIN code.
G. The system confirms the correct code: with a long flash from the LED.
H. After 5 s the LED will illuminate permanently to show that the system has accessed the
auto learning procedure.
I. Repeat step 7 of the auto - learning procedure for all radio control you want to add.
Note: When a new radio control is added to the system it will automatically delete all old radio
controls. If you want to keep them working you must memorize the old radio controls again 4
radio controls can be programmed.
