Refueling

● Do not spill fuel during refueling.
Doing so may damage the vehicle, such as causing the emission control
system to operate abnormally, or damaging fuel system components or
the vehicle's painted surface.
2NR-FBE engine only: Fill the fuel tank with a full tank of gasoline at least

every 10000 km (6214 miles). Failure to do so may cause a deterioration
of engine performance, driveability or emissions performance, or further
malfunctions.
Opening the fuel tank cap
1 Pull up the opener to open the
fuel filler door.
2 Turn the fuel tank cap slowly to
open it and hang it on the back
of the fuel filler door.
