● Depending on how the cylinders are controlled as a function of their actual position, the
status bits ZSW1_TLS_PLC bits 8 ... 15 change to "true".
In this example:
– "a_in" (ZSW1_TLS_PLC, bit 12)
– "b_out" (ZSW1_TLS_PLC, bit 9)
– "c_in" (ZSW1_TLS_PLC, bit 14)
– "d_out" (ZSW1_TLS_PLC, bit 11)
● The status bit "motion_terminated" (ZSW1_TLS_PLC, bit 3) changes to "false" when the
cylinders start moving.
● The output velocities of cylinders A, B, C and D are specified by "BSPEED_A_NORM",
"BSPEED_B_NORM", "BSPEED_C_NORM" and "BSPEED_D_NORM".

"Skew damping via electric drive" function

If the mechanical design of the crane permits (see Chapter Mechanical requirements for TLS
with a hydraulic system and electric drive (Page 239)), the "skew damping for damping skew
oscillation" function is implemented via the electric drive and not the cylinders.
This version is relevant for the constellations TLS_B and TLS_C; see Chapter TLS control
function description (Page 237).
If you want to implement skew damping using an electric drive rather than the cylinders, you
must set parameter P320 to 1 (see ChaptersCommissioning TLS (hydraulic system with
