WARNING
LOSS OF MONITORING/FUNCTION — It is important to
identify the defective power supply before turning off and removing
it.
If you turn off/remove the wrong power supply, the ATS will shut
down and the ApexPro system will stop functioning.
CAUTION
BURN HAZARD — Do not touch the power modules with your
bare hands.
The power module covers act as heat sinks to aid cooling, and are
typically at 50 C to 60 C (122 F to 140 F) when the ATS is in
operation. Severe burns could result.
The ATS is equipped with Hot swappable power modules. This feature allows for
power module replacement with no interruption in ATS operation.
1.
If removing a defective power module, determine which power module is
defective. The LED over the power switch on the defective module will not be
illuminated.
2.
Put on heat-resistant gloves, and keep them on for the remainder of this
procedure.
3.
Turn off the power switch on the left side of the power module back panel.
4.
Loosen the thumbscrew securing the power supply in the chassis.
5.
Grasp the handle on the back of the power module. Pull the power supply out of
the ATS.
6.
Place the power module in a safe place and allow it to cool. Ensure that no one
touches it with bare hands it until it has cooled to a safe temperature.
