1) Removal of the cleaning blade

1) Open the front door.
2) Move the toner hopper to front side.
3) Rotate the developer release lever
clockwise and remove the developer unit.
1) Remove the drum unit solenoid cover
(1 screw).
2) Disconnect the harness.
3) Remove the drum fixing screw.
4) Open the waste toner bottle cover and

remove the bottle.
5) Remove the drum unit.
1) Press the tabs of the drum unit lid toward
arrow mark to remove the lid.
1) Remove the cleaning blade tension
spring.
2) Remove the blade case (1 screw).
3) Remove the cleaning blade.
Note: • Before replacing the cleaning blade,
put drum starting powder on the
drum surface and cleaning blade.
(lightly and evenly)
• After replacing the cleaning blade, do
not forget to reinstall the tension
spring.
