Connection procedure

WARNING!
See and obey the safety instructions of the converter. If you ignore them, injury or
death, or damage to the equipment can occur.
WARNING!
Apply grease to stripped aluminum conductors before attaching them to non-coated
aluminum cable lugs. Obey the grease manufacturer's instructions.
Aluminum-aluminum contact can cause oxidation in the contact surfaces.
1.
Open the door of the main breaker cubicle. Unlock the handle, release it from the holder
and turn upwards to release the door locking mechanism.
2.
Remove the shroud that protects the grid cable terminals.
3.
Lead the grid cables into the inside of the cubicle.
4.
Fasten the grid cables to the grid connection terminals. Connect the phase conductors
to terminals L1, L2 and L3. Tighten the conductors to 120 N·m (89 lbf·ft).
5.
Connect ground conductors or cables to the cabinet PEN (ground) busbar.
6.
Provide support for the connections whenever necessary.
7.
Refit all shrouds removed earlier.
8.
Close the door.
